Loop A - loop 2 - constructive period

Although A5, Eb6 and F#5 are note-diminutions in the last measure (which elides with motif 2 in measure 56), the entire period is built-up by note-addition. The rhythmic density is raised in this period with one exception of rhythmic augmentation in measure 52-53, in which 32nds become 16ths. Additionally, in the transition to motif 2 at the end of the period, some rhythmic augmentation appears. Dynamics evolve in crescendo from pianissimo in measure 47 towards forte in measure 55. In measure 56 (motif 2), an accent is added on the double stop of the second beat. The phrasing starts with staccato indications and moves to 1/2 pedal playing from bar 50 onward. The melodic curve evolves from the large intervals of the residue in measure 47 to a quite fluent curve in motif 2.

During the first measures, the grace notes evolve to fully notated rhythms. This constructive rhythmic transformation can be highlighted by gradually broadening the space of these grace notes until they become the rhythms in the score.
