This period mainly tends toward note-diminution except for the addition of A3. The overall rhythm gets augmented through the period, mainly through the note-diminutions and with the help of some broadening of rhythm at the end of the period. In general, dynamics evolve in decrescendo from forte in bar 110 to piano in bar 116. The note E6 is briefly accentuated in the middle of the period. The phrasing remains 1/2 pedal, except for measure 116 that has a full pedal marked. The melodic curve evolves from a combination of capricious and fluent in measure 110 to a quite scattered melodic curve at the end of the period.
