The phrasing starts with 1/2 pedal indications and moves through full pedal in measures 77-83 to 1/2 pedal again. Also, the second half of the last measure of the main motif has a full pedal indication. The melodic curve evolves from the two-note melody of the residue in measure 75 to a quite fluent curve in the main motif. The tempo is raised by an accelerando from 50 to 60 bpm in measures 77 through 85.
