Although there are a few note-diminutions, the tendency of the note operations in this period is toward note-additions. The rhythmic density is raised over the whole period. Dynamics evolve in crescendo from pianissimo in measure 134 towards forte in measure 145. Most of the accents disappear through the period except for the one marking the G5 of the main motif. The phrasing remains 1/2 pedal throughout the period. The melodic curve starts from the quite capricious repetitive motif 4 to evolve into the quite fluent main motif. The construction of this period holds a very clear rotation: the order of the notes remains the same, but their position within the bar changes.
