Dynamics remain at forte through the period and raise up to fortissimo in measure 124. Accents are added only in the main motif. The staccato articulation from the beginning of the period is soon abandoned but returns when the main motif is established. The melodic curve evolves from being very fluent and capricious in measure 113 to the quite jumpy main motif. The tempo is brought down from 50 to 42 bpm between bars 113 and 120.
