Although there are some examples of note-addition, the main tendency in this period is to have note-diminution building down from the residue of the former constructive period and building up to the main motif. The rhythm is augmented from the 32nd notes in measure 158 to the 16th notes of the main motif. Dynamics don’t change and remain forte throughout the period. Accents are added only in the bars linked to the main motif and some staccato articulation is added in bars 163 and 165. The melodic curve evolves from being quite fluent in measure 158 to the quite capricious main motif at the end of the period. An accelerando starts in measure 161 and moves up to tempo 84 in measure 164. In the last measure of the period, there is a sudden tempo change to 69-72 bpm.
